Cabins for Rent near Burlington, Vermont

Robert Frost Mountain Cabins offer charming, quintessential lodging in Vermont. After carefully creating a secluded forest glade, we milled the harvested trees onsite and shaped them into artisan-crafted sturdy elegance. Each cabin has been individually decorated and appointed to provide a unique and inviting atmosphere.

Though surrounded by nature, the cabins provide ample contemporary comforts and amenities. Our smoke-free cabins each have a fully equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom, comfortable living/dining area, gas log fireplace, Swedish-style reading nook, and spacious screened back porch – all creating a home-away-from-home feeling. Every cabin has two bedrooms – one with queen-size bed and one with two single beds – and a fold-out living room futon. (Single bed to king-size conversion for a $20 fee.)

Cabin 1 - Peak Perspective

From this cheerful cabin’s bedroom, kitchen, and 12’x12’ screened back porch, guests are offered a panoramic view of Vermont’s Green Mountains. From your backdoor, you’ll have easy access to the meadow, trails, gardens, berry bushes, campfire pit, and spectacular starlit skies.

Cabin 2 - Sunrise Vista

Stay in warmly decorated Sunrise Vista and start your day in awe as the sun appears over the mountains. This cabin has a wonderful combination of woodland, meadow, and alpine views and is located near the start of our Trillium Trail – a gentle mile loop through the woods.

Cabin 3 - Blackberry Bend

Just a short distance from this cabin’s back porch, wild blackberries have taken up residence on the remnants of a stonewall from the early 1900’s. Positioned on the edge of the meadow, Blackberry Bend is perfect for those who want views both into the forest and over the mountains. The rich Mayan Gold walls in this cabin make for a joyful space.

Nestled in the forest, Serene Outlook offers soothing views and a perfect perspective to watch the forest’s subtle happenings from either the back porch or reading nook’s window. This cabin is decorated with calming blues and country quilts.

Cabin 5 - Owl’s Branch

The woodsy décor in Owl’s Branch carries the forest splendor, seen from the back porch, right into the cabin’s interior and creates a sense of peacefulness. This cabin is wheelchair accessible, with a roll in shower, in lieu of a bathtub.

Cabin 6 - Evening Star

This cabin’s natural setting and rustic decor makes for a perfect break from hustle and bustle. Evening Star features black cherry timber frame braces – showcasing the wood’s natural beauty and accentuating the easy going interior. This cabin has its own campfire pit and is decorated with earthy colors, rustic style furniture and cozy quilts – all of which create an ideal mountain getaway.

Cabin 7 - Hemlock Hideaway

Our newest cabin, Hemlock Hideaway is our most private cabin. It features its own fire pit just steps from the cabin’s 12′ x 16’ screened porch. The cabin’s modern furnishings, amethyst painted walls, and timber beams together create a woodsy yet contemporary space. The cabin is already a favorite with folks seeking a peaceful and private getaway.
