Extended Stays at RFMC

Your Home-Away-From-Home

In addition to short-term vacation bookings, Robert Frost Mountain Cabins are available to rent for extended stays lasting more than two (2) weeks and up to six (6) months in duration. For extended stays, we offer two floor-plan options that are well-suited for individuals, couples, or families seeking temporary housing near Middlebury, Burlington, and Addison County, Vermont.

Cabin Rental

Cabin rental includes a fully furnished, 750-square-foot timber framed home featuring two (2) bedrooms, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and combined living and dining areas with a fireplace and reading nook. Each cabin also offers a spacious 150-square-foot screened-in back porch and adjacent parking for two (2) vehicles.

Annex Rental

The Annex is a studio-style variation of our cabin footprint, with the main living areas centralized in one open space and private three-quarter, wheelchair-friendly bathroom. With a floor plan of 600-square-feet, the Annex has a queen bed and futon that can comfortably accommodate two (2) adults or three (3) guests including a child. The Annex is considered pet-friendly.

The Annex shares a lovely covered, wrap-around porch with the main house. Adjacent to the porch, parking for Annex guests includes convenient access to one of our Level 2 EV chargers.

Weekly housekeeping services are available for $50/hour.
